More About Anna
As a Costume Designer, Anna Winter takes pride in designs which are technologically elaborate and can be easily quick-rigged for film and stage. She enjoys working with special effects, and make-up. Her first costuming positions were with Izquierdo Studio, and four summers with Prairie Repertory Theatre (PRT). Winter enjoys working with the 501c3 non-profit; Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS (BCEFA) whose mission includes, “mobilizing the unique abilities within the entertainment industry to mitigate the suffering of individuals affected by HIV/AIDS”. She has been recognized with title as Outstanding Costume Designer on The Rocky Horror Show; and Warp Speed, through the Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF); and has provided her costume pieces for auction through the American Foundation for AIDS Research (AmfAR). Her leading goal is to maintain design work off Broadway, while applying to wardrobe positions on Broadway, in addition to learning the costume regulations provided by IATSE Wardrobe Union 764, in hopes to become a part of it.
