Welcome!
Anna Winter is an NYC-based aspiring make-up and costume designer.
Her work has been seen on film, television, stage, church, Burning Man, and display windows, and in the hair of teenaged girls. Willing to collaborate on both catwalks, light and dark; she is always aiming to create a visual change, which aides an audience's understanding of a story through adornment of the body. Winter's favorite stories to showcase include those which highlight social/political issues, historical nostalgia, tribal cultures, and underground nightlife.
"Anna Winter’s costume design is a vividly subtle array of perfect looks for the characters." -Darryl Reilly, TheatreScene
"Anna Winter’s period-atmospheric costumes add dimension throughout." -Jon Sobel, Blogcritics
"Anna Winter’s gorgeous World War II era costumes and Mike Lee’s big band sound design make for an enjoyable production on their own."-JK Clarke, Theatre Pizzazz
"Anna Winter certainly helps in this. Getting right the modern-day street attire of a stand-up comic is actually not easy, but Winter clearly understands the subtle choices a stand-up comic makes in his attire and has in no way clothed her actors haphazardly. Bravo for such care to subtle details." -Heather Anne Chamberlain, StageBuddy
